Boy am I slack!

I haven't posted in awhile because I have been so busy! I love looking at blogs and reading them but I don't have time to update mine. I don't think anyone cares anway. I have gotten back into cross stitching and that takes a lot of time and of course, Lucas. He is always calling me right in the middle of stitching something. I really need to clean but ..... I rather not. lol Life is to fast for cleaning! The weekend is almost over... AGAIN! I can't believe how fast the weekend goes and how slow the workday is. It's so depressing. Spring break is in 2 weeks but we are short the Monday because of a SNOW DAY. Yes we actually had 2 of those this year. The last one was so pretty. I guess we had at least 3 or 4 inches. I love snow. Lucas enjoyed it as well, but we have to make up for the loss of a schoolday and it happens to be the first day of our break. Of course, we've had kids say they aren't coming because they will be out of town. That doesn't bother me. Less to worry with! LOL ok.. I'm gonna shower and stitch!

Christmas is Over!

Gosh, is anyone as depressed as I am about Christmas being over? I feel like I didn't do enough to celebrate. I didn't take many photos and this is a great year for Lucas. I mean he has so gotten into Santa and everything this year. His reaction when he came into see what was left Christmas morning was priceless. He is so cute, but trying at times. I sometimes wonder what God was thinking when he gave me that cutie patootie. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have him. He has kept me sane. I get up for him everyday and know that he is important and I am important to him. I have never been one to have a 'best friend' and he always ask me, 'are you still my best friend?' He is so sweet. I love him with all my heart. I just don't want to disappoint him. Sometimes, I feel like I let down my daughter with the divorce and all. Hopefully, he knows that I will always be there.....Oh yeah, he still has pull-ups. Drives me insane. He doesn't care! He wants to peepee in his pants...I can see him now in high school wearing a pullup. Of course, he will be pushing his mom around in a wheelchair. 'gosh I hope not' That reminds me, I am back on my diet, I know I have gained some weight back and that isn't what I want to do. Definitely, not what I want to do.....Till next time!

I am hooked on looking at blogs!

OK... I am spending waaaaaaaaay too much time on my computer checking out blogs. I am hooked. I have tried new recipes, gotten ideas for crafts and just been all out nosy! lol Well, not that bad. I mean, if they weren't public I would be bad, right? Anywho, I really enjoy reading the blogs and learning how other people live and getting great ideas from around the country.

Pumpkin Farm!

Hello everyone!

Lucas and I went to the pumpkin farm yesterday and had a great time! It was fun to just take the day and spend it with him. He is growing up so fast and I feel like I am missing something every day! I know my mom takes great care of him but it's just not the same as if I were with him each day. I pray for each holiday, vacation, snow day, etc. .... to get here so we can just play.

My family consists of Me.... Cyndi..... otherwise known as Mom,

Don..... otherwise known as Dad,

and Lucas..... otherwise known as Son.

Don and I each have another child from different relationships.

So, this is sorta our second go around, if you know what I mean.

Don has a son, Zach, and I have a daughter, Erin.

Oh, I also have 2 grandchildren, Blake and Brandon.
